Automatic charging protects your battery from being overcharged so you can leave the charger connected to the battery indefinitely.
Using the latest technology in battery chargers, switchmode chargers convert 240V AC power to 12V DC power using electronic components unlike traditional battery chargers that rely on heavy transformers. This allows the charger to be lightweight and compact without sacrificing on performance.
All Projecta Charge ‘N’ Maintain battery chargers are spark-free and are protected against accidental reverse connection making them safer to use around batteries.
The chargers are weatherproof (IP65 rated) so they can be used outside without getting damaged. Although the charger is a 240VAC device, care should be taken that the plug is not submersed in water.
The 4-stage chargers have a bi-colour LED charge indicator which shows green when charging and fully charged, and yellow if there is a fault. The 8-stage chargers have an interactive LCD screen which whilst charging will show the battery voltage and battery gauge. The 8-stage chargers also feature a mode button which will toggle through the different features of the charge on the LCD display.

Projecta Charge N Maintain Chargers are Smart Chargers. This technology offers switchable charging stages that ensure an accurate and efficient charge for your battery. 4-stage charging is a sophisticated charging technique that gives your battery longer life and better performance compared to using traditional chargers.
Battery Health Check
The analysis mode tests the battery to ensure that it has taken the charge; if the battery passes the test the charger will proceed to the float stage.
Bulk (Constant current)
The Bulk stage reduces charging time by charging the battery at the maximum rate (constant current) to a set voltage, at which point the battery is approximately 80% charged.
Absorption (Constant Voltage)
The absorption stage charges the battery to 100% by adjusting the charge rate allowing the battery to absorb more power.
Float
The Float stage maintains the battery at 100% charge without overcharging or damaging the battery. This means the charger can be left connected to the battery indefinitely.
Battery Rescue
Applies a high voltage to break down the Lead Sulfate build up in heavily sulfated batteries.
Soft Pulse
Pulses a small current as the battery is starting to take charge.
Pulse Charge
Increases the pulse current as the battery is starting to take charge.
Soft Start
This is a preliminary charge process that gently introduces power to the battery, protecting the battery and increasing battery life.

During November, December, January & February (peak season / summer months / Xmas time) we unfortunately cannot guarantee delivery will arrive within our usual expected times and some delays may occur due to the increased amount of deliveries our carriers receive over this busy period.
Express Shipping (via Air) - usually arrives within 2-4 days
Express shipping will be offered for items under a certain length and/or weight and will display during the checkout process, if applicable for your order.
Orders placed after noon will be shipped the next business day (excluding weekends and WA public holidays).
Heavy/oversize items, hazardous items or items that include liquid do not qualify for Express Delivery because they cannot be sent via air.
Standard Shipping (via Road) - usually arrives within 5-9 days
Most small orders will be shipped by Startrack or Australia Post if the order fits within its weight/dimensions guidelines. Larger orders are shipped using the most economical options from one of our other transport partners.
We usually dispatch your order within 24 hours of receiving confirmation of payment (excluding weekends and public holidays).
FREE Standard Shipping (via Road) - usually arrives within 5-9 days
Free Standard Shipping is available for orders over $250, of certain products, and will be applied automatically as a discount code during checkout.

Shipping Insurance - Not included in our FREE Standard Shipping Offer
Shipping insurance covers any order lost or damaged during transit (if selected during checkout). The cost of insurance is based on a small percentage of your order value. Shipping insurance will not cover orders that have been delivered and given authority to leave, but have gone missing.
New Zealand International Shipping - usually arrives within 5-12 days
Shipping to New Zealand will be offered for items under a certain length and/or weight and will display during the checkout process, if applicable for your order.
International Orders - delivery time varies
International orders cannot be processed through our shopping cart online, as yet. To place an international order, please contact our customer service team to obtain a quote including shipping.
Delivery to PO BOXES
Oversized products, dangerous goods, some various other items that require special packaging cannot be shipped to PO Boxes. You will not see a shipping option if your cart contains these items and you have entered a PO box in the shipping address field. Either change your shipping address to a physical address or contact us to provide a quote for shipping your items to a PO box.
