A G70 duplex stainless steel swivel for 10-11mm (3/8") chain that connects to your anchor via shackle, giving you free articulation and strength you can rely on.
This item is currently in stock. Order by 12pm and we will dispatch it today (Mon-Fri).
Just like the anchors that made Rocna famous, the Rocna Swivel is built to a standard you can stake your life on. It's made from G70 duplex stainless steel and individually proof tested, so it's not going to let you down when you need it most.
The duplex stainless steel it's made from has been chosen for its strength and its ability to resist stress corrosion cracking in seawater, so it holds up even with permanent time in the water. Every single swivel is load tested before it's allowed anywhere near your boat, so you know it's proven before it ever hits the bow roller.
This swivel is designed to connect to your anchor using a shackle, not straight onto the shank. That's what lets it articulate properly when the load on your anchor shifts with the wind or tide. Bolt a swivel straight onto the shank and you risk damaging it under sideways loads, putting extra strain on the shank, or messing with how your anchor sets. Setting it up is simple: loop the body of a bow shackle through the attachment point on your anchor shank, then pass the shackle pin through the attachment point on the Rocna Swivel. If your anchor shank won't take a shackle body, just use a second shackle and join the two together.
With a compact, low-profile design measuring 109mm long and 36mm across, it sits neatly on your bow roller without getting in the way. It stops your anchor from twisting the chain as it comes up, so it settles back into place on the bow without a fight, and it's rated stronger than G70 chain, so it's never going to be the weak link in your set-up. It even has built in flushing drains to help keep the inside of the joint clean when you hose the mud off your chain.
The clamp screw is locked with a Nord-Lock washer pair so it won't work loose, and it comes from the factory with anti-seize already applied. It's built to be easy to look after, and it's backed by a Lifetime Warranty against breakage, bending, and manufacturing defects. This one suits 10 to 11mm (3/8") chain and works just as well with Rocna anchors as it does with any other anchor brand.
Product Features:
Note: Don't attach the swivel directly to your anchor shank. Always connect it using a shackle so it can articulate freely, as this is what protects both the swivel and your anchor from damage under sideways loads.

Q: Can I attach the Rocna Swivel directly to my anchor's shank?
No, this isn't recommended. Sideways forces on a swivel bolted straight to the shank can damage the swivel below its rated strength and put extra leverage on the shank. Always connect via a shackle instead, so the swivel can articulate freely.
Q: What size chain does this swivel suit?
This Rocna Swivel suits 10mm or 11mm chain (3/8"), up to G70 grade, with a 12mm chain pin size.
Q: Will this fit anchors other than Rocna?
Yes. The Rocna Swivel is designed to suit Rocna anchors, but it works with anchors from any manufacturer, as long as you connect it via a shackle rather than directly to the shank.
Q: What's included when I order the Rocna Swivel?
Each swivel comes with an assembly tool, a spare Nord-Lock washer pair, and a User's Guide booklet. Note that the shackle used to connect the swivel to your anchor is not included.
Q: How strong is the Rocna Swivel, and how much maintenance does it need?
It has a Working Load Limit of 3,460 kgf (7,640 lbf) and a Minimum Breaking Load of 13,800 kgf (30,500 lbf), stronger than G70 chain up to this size. It's built for permanent use in seawater and needs very little upkeep beyond a fresh water rinse and occasional inspection.
